The 23rd Annual Hand UP For Women Gala was an inspiring evening of transformation, hope, and generosity! Held on Thursday, March 13th, at The Grande Event Center, this red-carpet event brought together supporters, program graduates, and community members to celebrate the life-changing impact of Hand UP For Women.

An Evening of Inspiration
From the moment guests arrived, the energy was electric. The night featured powerful testimonies from the women whose lives have been changed through the program, reminding everyone that a second chance can lead to an incredible future. Attendees enjoyed an elegant setting, a delicious meal, and heartfelt moments that showcased the strength, resilience, and determination of the women Hand UP For Women serves.
Said Executive Director Eva Pierce, “Our 2025 “From Here to Eternity” Fundraising Gala is shaping up to be an unprecedented success, as our income stands at over $130,000.00! From having 300 guests in attendance, to the compelling and inspirational stories told by our graduates, it was a magical evening! It makes me excited for the future, as we serve 15 women in classes and mentoring, and begin expansion on our property.”

Thanks to the overwhelming generosity of our attendees, sponsors, and donors, this year’s gala raised over $130,000—a huge step toward continuing our mission of empowering women to build new futures. However, the work isn’t finished. Fundraising is still open, and every additional dollar goes toward providing mentorship, life skills training, career development, and support for women striving for a better tomorrow.
